- Diet for endometriosis
- Change your diet to minimize xenoestrogen exposure. As much as you can, eliminate non-organic dairy products, beef and chicken. (Note that because organic foods contain no added growth hormones, there’s no reason to limit their consumption.)
- Increase nutrient-rich foods, especially cruciferous vegetables, soy, cold-water fish and fiber, all of which support hormonal balance and help clear excess estrogen from the body.
- Follow a whole foods diet, being mindful of carbohydrates, to support healthy insulin metabolism and thereby support overall hormonal balance. This includes limiting alcohol intake.
- Maintain healthy levels of body fat to limit endogenous estrogen production. Body fat is a secondary production site for estrogen, so excess weight often means excess estrogen.
- Supplement with vitamins and minerals to make up for what is lacking in your daily food intake, including calcium and magnesium.
- Supplement with phytotherapy to gently normalize hormone levels.
- Supplement with omega–3 essential fatty acids as a natural anti-inflammatory.
- Minimize exposure to xenoestrogens in your environment. Don’t microwave food in plastic wrap or containers, and try to minimize the use of plastics for food storage.

In other words, it's time to change your eating habits, improves your lifestyle and take supplements. Before I have endo, I have a very poor eating habits. Not that it's totally unhealthy, but less.
I very seldom drink soda, coke and of course, not a smoker and those other things forbidden by my religion. But I must admit that I do eat less green leafy vege (preferably not to eat this at all), I only like crunchy vege and not those bitter, sour, smelly type (but I do eat 'petai' if sambal cooked), seldom eat fruits, I don't take supplement, only Vitamin C (once in a while) and I do like chocolates a lot. Hah, I almost forgot that I love fried food - those 'goreng pisang', 'cempedak goreng', keropok lekor etc.. the list can go on and on..
I was an athlete. I played hockey from 11 years old to university years, representing schools and university as well. I'm still fit up till now. I can still play netball & any sports up to a certain limit of course as I'm no more the trained athlete as I used to be... he.. But overall, I'm a fit and looks young at 35 years of age. People often mistaken me for a newly grad.. I am happy for that actually.. he..
A little background of myself to say that overall I'm healthy, fit and have BMI of 21, BUT I can still have endo due to probably some genetic reasons (my mom had fibroid once) and less healthy eating habits.. So folks, live a healthy life..! Cheers..!
